This awkward and strange novella consists solely of the inner dialog of an introverted and extremely perceptive teenager who is struggling with his unrequited love for a mentally retarded 14 year-old girl he has never met. What makes it unsettling is that he feels no moral shame about being attracted to her, only fear of what a cold and hypocritical world will do to him if he's found out.
How the title, "03" relates to the story is beyond me.
